2024 | RUF Winter Retreat
Getting to spend the first week of the New Year with college students is a pretty great way to get the ball rolling for 2024! They were a fun group from the RUF campus ministry in Florida. College students are fun, all about community, and excited to be figuring out the spiritual things of life.
Many past summer staff joined in on the retreat too, so it felt like a mini reunion! Which of course is always so great. Seeing WM family — there’s something special about that bond!
We see such value in retreats - community is strengthened through shared experiences; a new atmosphere opens us in ways everydayness doesn’t; the beauty of the mountains gives us pause and awe at God’s beautiful work; and stepping outside the stress of home opens us to times of quiet, worship, and teaching that transforms us; and a shorter getaway makes it easier for people to be able to come!
