Discipleship

“…That we may present everyone mature in Christ.” Colossians 1:28

We believe there are many layers to the discipleship process in a Christian’s life, but at the core it’s about helping believers grow and live in Christ.

At Whisper Mountain Camp, we work to help move campers & summer staff through the camp high and meet them again as they walk the streets of their everyday lives.

Whether through phone calls, texts, virtual Bible studies, or in person visits, our staff work tirelessly to remain invested in the spiritual encouragement and growing up of believers in Christ throughout the year.

The journey isn’t perfect, the means aren’t always ideal, but the results are God’s people turning their hearts more and more to Him.

  • I still talk to my counselors to this day, it's like they have become some of my mentors and it's really just incredible.

  • WM Summer Staff pouring into me was crucial in my spiritual development...calling me on Mondays after I got out of school...I absolutely loved it and learned so much in that time.

    — Hayden, camper turned staff turned ministry leader

  • My counselor and I were very intentional with texting and sporadic phone calls which was great. Now, I really want to start accountability and Bible study with some of my camper girls.

    — Katelyn, camper turned summer staff

  • I've had the opportunity to meet up one on one with a lot of my campers.

    — Josh, camper turned staff

  • Currently doing WM outside of the Waffle House after worship night (we have three campers here).

Growing God’s Family.

Campers who become staff who become people of intention has created generations of followers of Christ within the Whisper Mountain family. To God be the glory.
