Our Location

When the radio turns to static and your cell phone service becomes spotty or altogether lost, when the crowded roads turn to lonely stretches of highway, you'll know you're almost to Robbinsville, North Carolina. Whisper Mountain Camp finds home in this tiny town tucked in the corner of Western North Carolina: 3 hours North of Atlanta, 2 hours West of Asheville, 2 hours South of Knoxville, 2 hours East of Chattanooga.

As you drive through the gates of Whisper Mountain Camp, our hope is that you breathe slower and connect deeper. Getting away from your noise for a little while might be the best thing you choose all year.

Our Facilities

Whisper Mountain Camp is spread on 130 acres of mountain property. Being surrounded by national forest allows our air to be clean, the water to be fresh, the woods to feel alive. We like to think we enjoy a little slice of heaven and want to share that with you.

Take a Tour

  • From June - August up to 98 teen campers and their leaders come for a week at a time, often with a church youth group. We do welcome individuals.

    From September - April, teens and adults come for weekend retreats or special group gatherings.

  • Each summer we hire college-aged young adults to serve with us in a Guide (counselor) role. Our staff live with campers in the cabins. They need to have completed one year of college or age equivalent to be hired as staff. More info is located on our Summer Staff Page

  • Volunteers are our super heroes! In summer, we invite kitchen and grounds volunteers to stay a week at a time with us. The rest of the year, we welcome volunteers to join in whatever projects we have going at the time. If you’re interested in volunteering, fill out this form!
