Our Facilities
Whisper Mountain Camp spreads out over 130 acres of mountainous beauty and is surrounded by the Nantahala National Forest. When we say escape the noise with us in Western North Carolina, we mean it!

Guest Cabins
We have six cabins fit with bunk style beds (each with 11 beds): Heat & A/C included for year-round comfort; carpeted; bathhouse just steps away. These are more rustic when compared to our other lodging.
Our newer guest 32-bed cabin has two sides of bunk style beds (total of 16 beds on each side). Heat & A/C included for year-round comfort; carpeted; bathrooms in the cabin.
Summer capacity is 86 camper beds.
Retreat capacity is 102 beds.

Our onsite activities include a Wooded Paintball Course, High Ropes Course, Low Ropes Elements, Dual Zip Line, Large Playing Field that includes basketball, volleyball, nine-square, gaga pit, tetherball pole and swings. We also have onsite trails for basic hiking.

We take summer groups to Lake Santeetlah (ten minutes away) for rock jumping, swimming, kayaking and canoeing. We can lead day hikes for special activities in the retreat season.

Katangello is our camp store open to groups during their stay with us. Products include sweatshirts, t-shirts, mugs, hats, books, journals, gifts, and more. We accept cash, card or apple pay. Costs range from $3 - $38.
The Nosh is our snack shop. Snacks include things like drinks, candy, chips, jerky, and ice cream. We only take cash at the Nosh. Costs range from $1 - $4.
Dining Space
Our Hub is set up with round tables to keep the dining experience conversational. We service our groups with their meals, but this space also works to gather for events such as our Craftivities Retreat each spring and to play games in free time, both indoor and out.
Outside the Hub we have carpet ball, corn hole, slingshot wall, swinging chairs, tables and benches for connecting and relaxing.
Capacity is 75.
Meeting Space
Our Axis Building is set up for our main meeting space. Fitted with a stage, sound system, large screen, keyboard, drum set, microphones and music stands, this versatile space allows for worship and teaching as well as a good rain day activity space.
Capacity is 100 chairs.
