All About

Summer Camp

We Proclaim Christ.

Through purposeful adventure, intentional connections, practiced quiet & Biblical teaching we help teens experience the life-changing power of the Gospel in personal ways!

  • After being a camper here in past years, WM is a place I've grown to love and call a part of home. I can truly escape my noise here.

    — Avery, camper

  • It's obvious to me you all spend much time in prayer. Thanks for keeping your focus on Christ.

    — Frank, leader

  • The highlight for me was all the worship services and cabin times.

    — a multitude of campers

  • I loved such close connections with all the staff. The highlight for me was everyone knowing my name.

    — Becca, camper

  • The counselors are so wonderful, energetic, selfless, and passionate about Jesus and loving those kids.

    — Eric, leader

  • The food here is the best camp food I've ever had. They are amazing!

    — a multitude of guests

  • I grew up in church, but I truly made the faith my own my second year at Whisper Mountain.

    — Samuel, camper

Outdoor Activities

  • High Ropes | Challenges teens to push their limits and face their fears and brings Biblical principles to life

Low Ropes | promotes unity in your group and helps bring value to each member of the group

  • Paintball allows the adventure and experience to bring Biblical truths to light and everyday applications to life.

  • We offer Bazooka Ball, Arrow Tag, Archery, Hatchet Throwing, Basketball, and Rec Games

  • Nothing like immersion in the forest beauty! These hikes are mild enough for entry level hikers to enjoy.

  • We bus campers fifteen minutes away to the lake for swimming, rock jumping, kayaking, and canoeing.

Who Comes

  • We serve middle and high school teens (grades 7-12). Our facilities accommodate youth groups up to 84 people

  • Monday - Friday Camp week costs $425 per camper. This includes all food and lodging and activities. Paintball is an additional $30 per camper.

  • We have bunk style cabins. One building has two sides equipped with bathrooms in the rooms. Six cabins are in line with a bathhouse having both a boys and girls side.

Our staff stay in the cabin with campers.

Program

  • Groups arrive Monday between 1-2 and leave Friday after lunch.

  • Whisper Mountain Staff runs the activities and teaching through summer so group leaders have a greater opportunity to connect with their students.

  • All activities allow for teachable moments, but we also offer morning Solo Times with a devotional we provide, small group cabin times with our staff each morning, and a worship and teaching service each night.

Providing an atmosphere to help our guests encounter the quiet whisper of the personal God is the whole point of Whisper Mountain Camp. But we don’t stop there.

Our staff build intentional relationships with campers through the week, then offer discipleship follow up through the year.
